OXFORD — Construction is underway at HomeGrown Brewing Company in Oxford. The new beer venture is targeting a 2016 opening. [Facebook]

HAZEL PARK — Cellarmen's officially swings open October 17 with a grand opening party from noon to midnight. Expect a full complement of meads, ciders, and beers on tap. The company eventually plans to distribute kegs locally and offer canned and and bottled meads and ciders. [EaterWire]
