Slow's founder Phil Cooley and Bigalora partner Michael Chetcuti are plotting a new restaurant in south Corktown (side note: someone is calling it SoCo now). According to DBusiness. The restaurant will be located behind Ladder House No. 12, a building the pair along with Kate Bordine Cooley of Our/Detroit purchased back in February 2014. Chetcuti's partner Kyle Evans is designing the restaurant, which will feature wine and some sort of undisclosed food. If all goes according to plan the restaurant is slated to open next summer. The Ladder House itself will be developed as a flexible community space for pop-ups, fundraisers, and other events. Stay tuned for more details.
