Mexicantown's forthcoming fish & chips restaurant The Huron Room looks dangerously close to opening. The restaurant, which sports a very fishy sign, offered a sneak peek of the bar today on Facebook.

The bar and beer fridges appear to be fully-stocked with aquamarine brick and a nautical map of Lake Huron papering the walls. Eater has reached out for more details. Stay tuned.
Update, 10/28, 4:30 p.m.: Co-owner Jacques Driscoll says that The Huron Room is (hopefully) two weeks away from soft openings. The restaurant is awaiting final inspections.
