The Urban Bean Co., whose small, two-story cafe occupies corner of Grand River Avenue and Griswold Street, took to Facebook today to bite back at the city ticketer who hit the company with a $134 fine for street signage.

The city just gave us $134 fine for having a sign in front of our store. These signs are all over the city. Buildings and Safety is a racket and here to extort cash from very small businesses. Meanwhile over in Gilbertland you can erect a 20 story bumper sticker and shlap it on your Albert Kohn buildings. Eat a gigantic dick Detroit Buildings and Safety.
