Jefferson Chalmers—After more than two years of regular pop-ups in Julien's Waffles and Tea, Coffee and (____) is saying goodbye. Owner Angela Foster says Coffee and (____) will officially open at her permanent location in April. "It's been a long and super fun road...I can't believe that my little idea of popping up in my neighborhood simply selling my pastries and some coffee in order to meet my neighbors has turned into a full-fledged business complete with a full-fledged business loan!!"

Southwest—It appears Taqueria El Rey's storefront will be receiving a well-deserved spruce, thanks to the Southwest Detroit Business Association's façade improvement plan.
