Craft Breww City has set the date. On January 28 the Farmington Hills restaurant will officially open to the public, according to a company announcement today via Facebook.

Director of operations Curtis Nordeen told Hometown Life back in December that the space in the Orchard 12 center, was originally slated to become a pub named Bailey's. However, when plans fell through the contractor got in touch with Nordeen to see if he'd be interested in taking on the 8,300-square-foot space.

The restaurant design incorporates industrial details like exposed ductwork and a tin ceiling. There's also a mural. In terms of entertainment, the pub offers billiards, televisions, and darts. In the summer, Craft Breww will have outdoor seating.

The pub is about the beer as much as the food says assistant manager Ken Zaniricci. The restaurant will also offer tacos, mac and cheese, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza.

"I am looking for the latest, greatest (in beer) that no one else has," Zaniricci says. Customers can expect 40 beers on tap as well as bottles in a variety of styles.
