When Jason Frenkel revealed details of his newest restaurant venture Tokyo Club last week he remained tight-lipped on the name of the downstairs speakeasy. Now the wait is over. Detroit, say hello to The Keep, Motor City's newest (and darkest) watering hole.

Rumor has it bartender Evan Dawber has left Detroit City Distillery to head the new bar. Friends were invited to a sneak peek event Thursday evening, but both venues officially open tonight for the masses.

Tokyo Club and The Keep are located at 1407 Randolph St. Tokyo Club is open tonight from 6 p.m. and will accept its final seating at 10 p.m. The Keep is open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
