Greektown Casino's shuttered high-end Brizola has been replaced by PRISM, which opens today and will be the new signature restaurant concept for the Dan Gilbert-owned casino and hotel. Big difference: Whereas Brizola emphasized fine dining, PRISM is pushing affordability.
While there are some similarities (both concepts offered the arancini risotto balls), reps from the casino say PRISM's new options will be reasonably priced steaks, seafood, pasta and warm chocolate lava cake, which seems, well, more casino-y.
PRISM has also added a happy hour between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., where guests can find a rotating assortment of mini sliders, white truffle herb fries, the lychee martini and mandarin cosmopolitan at the restaurant's circular bar in the dining room's center— all for $5.
