HopCat Announces Opening, Plans To Give Away All The Free Things; Tallulah Hosting Nose To Tail Pig Dinner

MIDTOWNHopCat Detroit has announced their official opening date, and they're making it one heck of a party. From their official Facebook page: "OK, here we go Detroit: Grand opening Nov. 15 at 11 a.m.. World Record Tap Takeover by Short's Brewing Company, plus a free show at night by PitchBlak Brass Band, Free Crack Fries every week for a year to the first 200 people (21 and up) in line, free Crack Fries all day to everybody." BIRMINGHAMTallulah Wine Bar & Bistro is hosting a special event this Sunday, called a "pourcailhade" or festival of the pig. Chef Nick Geftos is planning a four-course nose to tail meal outdoors, with special guest Carl Boehm, CSW in charge of the wine.
