LAFAYETTE PARK— A significant residential development called DuCharme Place has been given the green light. With plans for 185 apartments, the project should begin construction soon.

RIVERFRONT— Mt. Elliott Park now has a splash park, bathrooms, a cafe, and even a new sundries store. Take a look around the new facilities.

ELMWOOD— Belle Isle is often considered Frederick Law Olmstead's contribution to Detroit, but Elmwood Cemetery was also his design. Detroit's oldest cemetery is also its prettiest, and was designed to function like a park.
