Everybody celebrate, because Wright & Company is doing a soft opening on Thursday and Saturday, opening their doors officially on Monday. This is the final cherry on top of what has been, by all accounts, an amazing week for Detroit restaurant openings. In the words of Gold Cash Gold, "Biggest week for #Detroit restaurant openings that we can remember. Rose's Fine Food (we went yesterday, get the beans!), Wright & Company and Antietam. Wishing all of our friends smooth openings and a ton of success. Can't wait to join them."
Wright & Company is the only downtown opening this week, and Eastern Market's Antietam and Rivertown's Rose's Fine Food shows that the love of good food is continuing to spread. At Wright & Company it's not just about the food, it's also about the quality cocktails. Dave Kwiatkowski from The Sugar House is in charge of the beverage program while Marc Djozlija, former executive chef for the MGM Grand's Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, is creating the small plates menu. Their Facebook page remains quiet, they're presumably a little busy right now, but more information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
