Selden Standard Pops Up At The Oakland; Sarap Pops Up In Southfield

MIDTOWNThe Detroit Pizza Company is "VERY" close to opening according to their most recent Facebook post, which also includes around half a dozen photos of the soon-to-open interior. [Facebook]

FERNDALEThe Oakland and Selden Standard are teaming up for a pop up dinner on July 22nd at The Oakland. Chef Andy Hollyday will be preparing the small plates and craft cocktails will the served, starting at 5 p.m. There is no entry fee, items can be purchased a la carte, and they are not taking reservations. This is going to get very busy though, so call 248-291-5295 up to an hour before arrival to be added to the wait list. [-ED-]

SOUTHFIELDSarap, the area's new Filipino pop up, had a wildly successful first dinner at Supino Pizzeria, so they're hosting another one at the Great Lakes Culinary Center on August 16th. It's $50 per person, and there will be two seatings. They will also be hosting a brunch in Port Huron on August 24th, check out their website for more details. [-ED-]
