New Parking Garage Possible Downtown; Gilbert Grabs 3 Storefronts; More!

DOWNTOWN— The empty lot left by demolishing the Bates Garage might eventually be home to a brand-new parking garage. The lot is being sold to Dan Gilbert, and there are hints that he's gunning for a 10-story parking/retail structure on Monroe Street.
