DETROIT/METRO DETROIT It's #Negroniweek, and local bars are participating with special Negroni cocktails, at least $1 of which will go to support 826 Michigan, which supports kids in their creative writing efforts. The Oakland, Sugar House, and a boatload of Ann Arbor bars are participating this week only. [Metro Times]

MIDTOWN La Feria has announced summer hours, and they include no more afternoon siestas, as they'll stay open between lunch and dinner. As of yesterday they are open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m.- 11:00 p.m., and they're open until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. They posted a reminder that the kitchen stops serving one hour before close though, so don't stroll in last minute expecting a full meal. [Facebook]
