The proposal from popular Berkely restaurant Vinsetta Garage to change local zoning and knock down four homes in the adjoining neighborhood to make a parking lot was shot down by the Berkley Planning Commission. Residents have been vocal about keeping the homes (and their neighborhood) intact, and the planning commission voted 7-0 in favor of the residents' opinion. [Deadline Detroit] Vinsetta Garage.
