Torino's Garrett Lipar Class of 2014 Eater Young Gun!!!

Chef Garrett Lipar of Torino in Ferndale is currently in L.A. to celebrate his membership in the Eater Young Guns Class of 2014! Announced on Eater National today, the class consists of just 16 of the best and brightest young minds in the North American culinary world. The class includes chefs, sous chefs, pastry chefs, food truck operators, one GM, a butcher, a barista, a mixologist, and a pizza chef, from all over the USA and Canada. The 7 women and 9 men were chosen from the thousands of submissions, with input from Eater editors locally and nationally, and from some of the most well respected veterans in the industry. It's official everyone, Metro Detroit has one more notch in its culinary belt. Garrett will be celebrating at the Gala all night, but major congratulations are definitely in order.
