Two local chefs with huge followings are hosting a collaborative spring dinner on Friday May 9th and Saturday May 10th. Luciano DelSignore of Bacco and Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina is inviting Andy Hollyday of hotly anticipated restaurant Selden Standard into his Southfield kitchen for two nights only.
It seems that the unusually long and awful winter has inspired chefs to go all out with spring menus, featuring fresh seasonal ingredients and bright concepts. The event will seat 60 guests each night, and is $150 per person including "six courses with beverage pairings as well as hors d'ouevres, a welcome cocktail, tax, and gratuity". Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 24th at noon, and must be purchased online. As both chefs are so well-known, expect this to sell out fast, so plan on buying tickets right away.
