Tiny Flatiron Building has a New Tenant; Belle Isle Bathroom Updates; More!

BELLE ISLE— The DNR has grand plans for Belle Isle, but the first order of business is making the park functional on very basic level. That means providing visitors with a place to do their business. The agency recently released a video showing the challenges of restoring Belle Isle's vandalized bathrooms.
DOWNTOWN— Downtown has a few flatiron-shaped buildings, but the most mysterious of them all might be the Reid building. The ancient structure looks grizzled from the outside, but upstairs there's a gleaming new barbershop. Check it out on Curbed.
MIDTOWN— The Coronado is among Midtown's oldest apartment buildings, designed on a grand scale in the 1890s. A recent renovation saw the building completely gutted, but the results are more impressive than you might think.
DOWNTOWN— The Cary Lofts building has been dormant for a while, but work finally appears to have started up. Check out the new windows and various quirks of what's bound to be a gem.
