The Zenith has arguably the most interesting restaurant interior to be designed in recent years, and last week's gallery just couldn't cover all the interesting details throughout the space. Dolls, mannequins, a vintage stove/fireplace, and even some mildly creepy clown decor are just a few of the details owners Robert and Melissa Jasper used to create their unique restaurant.
The Detroit Free Press reports that the menu is interesting and affordable, and that it's becoming quite the lunch location. They still don't have a liquor license for their awesome tiki-bar area, but are hoping to serve drinks by June. Melissa does the cooking, and apparently she also painted the giant Boston terrier portraits in honor of their family pets. They're serving brunch on the weekends now, starting at 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and hopefully will begin weekend dinner service soon.
