CORKTOWN— The city's favorite bagel shop, Detroit Institute of Bagels, is now part of another institution. The shop just announced that their bagels can now be purchased at The Henry Ford, so go get a bagel with that history. [Facebook]

MIDTOWNLa Feria makes a mean paella, and they're willing to share their secrets. On Thursday, April 17th, Shinola is hosting a paella workshop with the tapas restaurant. CORKTOWNSlows Bar-B-Q is hosting a whole hog dinner on Wednesday, April 23rd, and they're featuring Michigan-made Virtue and J.K's Scrumpy ciders along with. The menu will feature all manner of pork dishes (when they say whole hog, they mean it, organs included). Tickets can be purchased in advance for $65. [Slows]
