Shiny New Street Clocks and Five Historic Homes Saved

Paul Beshouri/Curbed Detroit

THE STREETS— Detroit's four new street clocks have been revealed! The thirteen-foot-tall timepieces were donated by Shinola and they do look snazzy. How they look, where they'll go.

WEST VILLAGE— The east side neighborhood of West Village is renovating five of its vacant homes as part of new revitalization project. Three of these historic beauties will hit the market once work finishes up. See the pretty houses at Curbed.

DOWNTOWN— The Wurlitzer Building had some awful luck. For now, it looks like the 14-story tower will remain an abandoned mess. Curbed has the story.
