In a city where Lafayette, American, and Duly's get all of the credit, it's refreshing to read about Red Hots Coney Island in Highland Park, a veritable institution in its own right where they actually make the chili from scratch and serve a smaller hot do (with mustard on the bottom) to better feature the homemade taste.
