Butcher's Dinner At Antietam Features Unusual Cuts; Goldfinch Is Off The Ground

Eastern Market Photography by Chris and Michelle Gerard

EASTERN MARKET— While Antietam still hasn't opened, they're hosting an event on Saturday to teach diners all about the joys of meat, since they'll be butchering a 400 half side of beef in the restaurant space and explaining the process as it happens. Bailout Productions' Joe Robinson will of course be providing the beverages, and beef dishes will be on the menu. Tickets should be purchased at the door. [Facebook]

SOUTHWEST—Tonight's 11 course Goldfinch American pop up dinner is sold out, but tickets can be purchased for next week's dinner in advance. This is the first of a recurring pop up which will become a brick and mortar conceived by Tunde Wey of Revolver with chef James Hayes at the helm. Curious as to what kind of food they're serving at these dinners? The menu for tonight has been posted on the Facebook page. [Facebook]
