Thomas Magee's Sporting House Whiskey Bar isn't catering to the hipster set, though they're aiming for an eclectic classic Detroit feel with room for sports fans of all types (every sport, every fight). They're also "cracking eggs and cracking kegs" starting at 7:00 a.m. on St. Patty's Day, and there will be a bagpiper "to add to the festive mood". [Detroit News]
