Third Young Guns Dinner Announced At "The Stand"

The many, many people who couldn't get tickets to the second local Young Guns Dinner at Terry B's (it sold out in 21 minutes), should perk up and start getting ready, because tickets to the third dinner, to be held at The Stand Gastro Bistro in Birmingham, Chef Paul Grosz's foray into the suburbs (he also owns and runs Cuisine in Detroit) go on sale Tuesday.

The dinner will be held on April 13th, tickets are $125 per person, all inclusive. As with the previous dinners the menu will not be announced beforehand, and the dishes will be served as is, no changes or substitutions. The Detroit Free Press announces that there are three new chefs this time around, Jeremy Kalmus from Local Kitchen & Bar, Justin Vaiciunas of The Jefferson House, and Matt Green from The Reserve (Grand Rapids). They'll be joining Andy Hollyday, James Rigato, and Doug Hewitt, along with sommelier Evan Barrett (Plum Market). Tickets to the event should be purchased through The Stand: 248-220-4237.
