John D Bistro Moves To Seasonal Menus

The Hungry Dudes report that John D American Bistro Bar in Ferndale has decided to change up their menu, moving to more seasonal dishes and ingredients, including winter comfort food featuring things like squash, mushrooms, and root vegetables along with heartier proteins (rabbit, beef Bourguignon). They're keeping some of the classic favorites on the menu, but Chef Scott Breazeale, who took over last summer, was ready to make a bigger change. They're already planning a spring menu, which is an encouraging sign that their plan to be more seasonal will actually stick. Their seasonal changes will also apply to their Sunday brunch menu, and come warm weather they have outdoor seating as well.
