December 11: Bubbleheads beware. The Forest Grill is hosting a champagne tasting from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. this Thursday. Light canapés will be provided by chef Nick Janutol. The first 10 patrons to arrive will receive an exclusive taste of 2004 Blanc de Blanc. Tickets are $15. Cheers!
December 13: The Fisher Building is creating a Big Holiday Biergarten featuring local brews, activities for all ages, and evening tours of the historic edifice. The event is free and open to the public.
December 16: Grand Trunk Pub is hosting The Walking Dead Mystery Meat Beer Dinner. Don't worry. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Budumpch! For $40 diners can feast on balsalmic creamed cauliflower soup, crawfish broil watercress salad with crispy macaroni and cheese balls, a brain bread basket, and deconstructed lady fingers prepared by guest chef Cokko Swain.
