GM Levels Former Home Of Schweizer's Restraurant

On Tuesday, General Motors plowed over a 129-year-old building in Rivertown, formerly home to the German restaurant Schweizer'sAccording to Curbed Detroit, GM subsidiary Riverfront Holdings purchased the building earlier this year. The demolition is presumably a move to make way for proposed changes to I-375, providing easier access to the RiverWalk.
