Andiamo restaurant group owner, Joe Vicaritells the Detroit Free Press today, that the chain of restaurants will receive some key updates to entice younger customers and has plans to expand into new markets possibly including Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, and Lansing.

The restaurant group, which Vicari took over nearly 25 years ago, will aim to give diners a more relaxed experience with "one-page menus, upbeat servers, and no more white tablecloths."

The restaurateur is moving forward cautiously after the recession. "I want to try to firm up our brand, and then look for opportunities probably in a couple years," he says. "I want to make sure this recovery is one that will last."
