Warning: saying the name of this dinner and drink series may make you blush. CORE Detroit's Kat Rembacki dishes today on Rubbed After Dark, hosted by Corktown's charcuterie shop this December 11-12.
"If you haven't yet been introduced to the wonder of Rubbed's charcuterie, this dinner is an excellent chance to dive in with ravenous abandon," Rembacki writes.
The second rendition of the After Dark dining experience will feature charcuterie boards, poached shrimp scampi, and grilled quail. The Corktown restaurant also has a temporary liquor license for the event. Quoth Rembacki: "Local outlaw oenophile Putnam Weekley will be curating a selection of beer, wine and cocktails to pair with the food. Expect flavor fireworks."
Tickets are $40 and reservations can be made online at the restaurant website.
