Jeremy Sasson, owner of the Townhouse Restaurant in Birmingham, is planning yet another restaurant—this time in downtown Detroit. The restaurateur is bringing Townhouse to a street-level space in the 45-story One Detroit Center office tower according to Deadline Detroit."Signed, sealed & delivered. Townhouse is coming to Detroit!!" Sasson posted via Facebook on Friday.
While there's no word yet on when the restaurant will be open, one can be sure he'll have his hands full. Eater reported last week that Sasson had received partial approval to move forward with a sushi concept where the Townsend Hotel's Corner Bar is located.
Townhouse's menu has several seasonally updated items as well as standards like the award-winning Townhouse burger, prepared on a brioche bun.
