Several metro area restaurants lost power during this evening's windstorm, which brought gusts topping 35 mph. Rose's Fine Food reported via Facebook around 3 p.m. that the cafe would be closing due to an outage. A representative writes that the Rose's may stay shuttered until Wednesday. Others including M-Brew in Ferndale made the best of a downed power line, which added ambiance to an otherwise unfortunate situation. "Come share the romance with us," the restaurant boasted in a Facebook post accompanied by a pint and a candle.
