Job Search—HopCat is due to open in just a little over three weeks, but the restaurant and bar are still seeking experienced bartenders to join the opening team. Those interested should visit the temporary highering headquarters Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2990 W. Grand Boulevard, Suite 300.

Eurotrippin'—Take a break from holiday cooking and visit Kuhnhenn Brewery on November 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Polish Night. The menu includes hearty items like potato pierogi, smoked kielbasa, and plenty of fermented cabbage.

Crowdfunding—The purchase is complete. Organizers behind Brightmoor Community Kitchen have officially obtained the deed to a blighted space that will be rehabbed to support food entrepreneurs.
