UPDATED Thanksgiving Dining and Sourcing Roundup

A frequently updated guide to dining and sourcing for Thanksgiving 2014.

While the Eater Thanksgiving Map and Ann Arbor Guide provide some excellent suggestions for holiday eating, a slough of restaurants continue to add to the list of sourcing and dining options. The following is an expanded roundup of dining options for metro Detroiters looking for a little simplicity this Thursday. Eater will update this list as more announcements are made.

Sourcing:

RE BBQ is offering a "Take & Bake" party pan menu with items like smoked chicken, kielbasa, and brisket burnt ends. Orders must be placed by Tuesday at noon.

Om  Café is providing an "Om at Home" vegan Thanksgiving dinner complete with mashed potatoes and gravy, Brussels slaw, sautéed tofu, chocolate avocado pudding, and more. Place your orders by Monday at 9 p.m. Om Cafe is no longer accepting orders for Thanksgiving.

Anita's Kitchen is taking orders for Thanksgiving Eve pick-up.

Rock City Pies will be selling pies and bread pudding on Tuesday after 4 p.m. and Wednesday after 1 p.m. All pies are first come-first serve and there is no limit to the number of pies per purchase.

DISH Detroit is taking reservations for prix fixe dinner, a la carte, and dessert menu items. All orders must be placed before 9 p.m. on Tuesday and picked up between noon and 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Sister Pie has pies available on at Parker Street Market beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. *Tuesday's pies sold-out in two hours.

Avalon International Breads on Willis will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. to serve your need for breads, rolls, and pies.

Mike's Famous Ham Place has hams available for holiday orders for those planning to go nontraditional on Turkey Day.ining:

Detroit Institute of Bagels will be open on Thursday for the Detroit Lions Game, Thanksgiving Parade, and Turkey Trot.

Boukie's Grill in Royal Oak will be open Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Grand Trunk Pub is offering pre-packaged bags of runner fuel from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a special Parade Day Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon.

R.U.B. BBQ Pub and Taqo are providing a "family-friendly" experience along the parade route. Dine on brunch items like waffles, omelets, pancakes, and fruit from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids under 5 years old eat free. There will be a live DJ, face painting, and more. Atwater Brewery will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Bring your relatives in for a beer.

The Hudson Cafe will be serving breakfast, brunch, and coffee from 6 a.m. to noon during the Thanksgiving Parade.

Harry's Detroit is offering breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. A full menu will be available starting at 10:30 a.m. including turkey roulade.

The Detroit Pizza Company is open all night on Wednesday and during the morning on Thursday until 1 p.m.

Union Street Detroit's bar will open at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Dime Store will be serving breakfast, lunch, hot drinks and daytime cocktails from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Addison Eatery is accepting reservations for a brunch buffet from 6 a.m. to noon on November 27. Adults eat for $25 and children eat for $10. Tables are available for reservation for $50.
