Beer lovers who have been busy all month cultivating spectacular moustaches for No Shave November be advised: Dark Horse Brewing Company is teaming up with Birmingham-based The Bird & The Bread for a competition and tap takeover that celebrates the good, the bad, and the John Waters of facial hair. Visit the restaurant at 210 S. Old Woodward Avenue on November 29, at 9 p.m. for "Earn your Beard."

Fake moustaches will be provided, but those interested in throwing their stunners of the prickly variety into the ring can enter three categories: Best Moustache, Worst Moustache, and Best Burt Reynolds Moustache. Prizes include Dark Horse Brewing t-shirts, and gift cards for The Bird & The Bread and Floyd's Barbershop.

The event is free, but a portion of the sales of stout (the One Oatmeal Stout and Too Cream Stout will be available) and the 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in honor of Movember, a movement dedicated to men's health and wellness.
