Revolver Hosts Chef From The Ravens Club; Campus Martius tree lighting; and more.

Pop-ups—Ann Arbor's The Ravens Club is getting positive dining feedback now that chef Frank Fejeran is helming the menu. Revolver has invited the chef to bring his cuisine to Hamtramck with a four-course fall meal on December 12. Tickets are $50.

Caffeine Nation—West Village's newest café, The Red Hook, has happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Drop in for a pastry and get a small coffee for free.

Higher Learning—The Root Restaurant and Bar just added two classes to its December roster. For $100 per person learn about soups and sauces with chef James Rigato or get a lesson in holiday deserts with pastry chef Emily Davis.

Beer Here—The Campus Martius Christmas tree lighting is tonight at approximately 7:45 p.m. Arrive as early as 5 p.m. and enjoy Atwater brews, ice skating performances, and live music. Festivities last until midnight.
