According to a Friday update on the restaurant's Facebook page, Antietam's reopening will coincide with November 28—Black Friday. The restaurant is already accepting reservations.
The goals of the new culinary team appears to have some rather weighty aspirations. Spokeswoman Jessica Bancroft Herzig tells Crain's, the chef and bartender are "local talent and newly implanted national veterans of the industry (predominantly from New York City) aimed at reclaiming the heritage and lost art of an industry in a city that once led the world in art, architecture, and commerce."
In the meantime, the restaurant has been teasing some very meaty dishes on social media.
