Supino Pizzeria in Eastern Market will soon have a sister restaurant right next door. Owner David Mancini tells Crain's that the 1,000-square-foot restaurant, La Rondinella, is now slated to open late January featuring a bar and 40-seat dining restaurant.
Mancini had previously planned for a late-summer opening. However, he tells Crain's that he slowed progress to avoid collecting too much debt as renovation costs ballooned from a projected $50,000 to $80,000
The Italian menu will include fresh pasta dishes, handmade gnocchi, free-range chicken, grass-fed beef, and Supino's pizza.
