After several months of silence, things finally appear to be in the works at Antietam. Although owner Gregory Holm promised the return of the popular new eatery after Antietam shuttered last summer due to the departure of its chef and bartender, little has been seen or heard form the restaurant since August.
On Monday and Tuesday the restaurant updated its Facebook page to hail the arrival of the new (and as yet unnamed) executive chef and sous chef, while Mark Maynard is featured in an image "describing the subtleties of Antietam's new Fall/Winter French wine list."
Jessica Herzig, a spokesperson representing Antietam, tells Eater, "There are some exciting new changes taking place as we gear up to a reopening of the space at the end of the month." Stay tuned as more details unfold.
