The New York Times Travel section gave Detroit restaurants some love this week. While Michigan native Jennifer Conlin is mistaken to suggest the city is no longer a food desert (though more grocery stores are breaking ground), she's correct to notice that the renaissance city is in the midst of a culinary explosion. Exhibit A. Exhibit B. Exhibit C. Craft Work, Salt & Cedar, and Guns & Butter received attention. But the highlights were three smaller profiles on newcomers La Feria, Wright & Company, Detroit Vegan Soul, and Rose's Fine Food.
