In yet more barbecue news, mobile cart Victory Smokehouse, is planning to build a 5,000-square-foot restaurant off the east wall of The Victory Inn in Warren according to The Detroit News. The restaurant will have "a casual barn look with Texas-style barbecue."

This Saturday owner, Chris Callender will host the second annual November Smoke Harvest Festival where he'll smoke 1000 pounds of ribs, brisket, and pulled pork in a custom-built, three-ton pit at the Inn. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. and benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Last year, the smokehouse says they sold out in a little over three hours so they're doubling their capacity.
