Specials—Not interested in putting on a costume? Bistro 82 in Royal Oak is providing food and drink specials for afterHour on Thursday. "Mix and mingle with Hour Detroit's A-list" the magazine writes.

Beer Here—The Bird & The Bread in Birmingham kicking off Halloween on October 30 with a Beer, Fire, and Brimstone party with craft beer tastings and dishes like Andouille sausage corndogs and pork sliders. The cost is $35.

Masks—No tickets necessary for cocktail bar The Oakland's Illuminati Ball this Friday. Come wearing formal masquerade attire and enjoy drinks at prizes. The event starts at 5 p.m. and lasts until 2 a.m.

Day of the Dead—As a follow up to Halloween festivities, Imperial in Ferndale will host it's Third Annual Dia De Los Muertos celebration on November 1. Restaurant staff will decorate their faces with sugar skulls and serve up food and drink specials, while one-of-a-kind paper mache skulls are auctioned off to support students at Roosevelt Primary School and Ferndale High School. The person who comes dressed in the best costume will receive a $150 gift card.
