Anniversaries—The people at New Center's Northern Lights Lounge are celebrating the restaurant's 10-year anniversary this weekend with DJ sets Friday and Sunday, and live performances on Saturday night.

Pumpkins—Corktown's Historical Society has their annual Pumpkin Festival this Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Murphy Playground across from Mudgie's. A tipster tells Eater the deli will be serving out of their newly acquired take-out space.

Special Releases—All of B. Nektar's offerings tend to recall the flavors of All Hallows Eve (Zombie Killer. Black Fang. Kill all the Golfers.). Now, in honor of Detroit's infamous Devil's Night, the meadery is hosting a limited release celebration Devil's Juice—a spicy sweet blend of pineapple, jalapeño, Serrano and (spooky) ghost peppers—October 30 through November 2. They'll also be playing a slough of horror films all weekend long.

Festivities—Tickets are already on sale for One-Eyed Betty's FestivALE featuring heated beer tents with Belgian and Michigan holiday beer booths. Betty's will have roast pig, lamb, goat, and portobello mushrooms along with fresh-out-of-the-fryer donuts for eating. The whole thing is wrapped up with live music and presumably a big red Christmas bow.
