The Zenith in New Center On A Tuesday During Happy Hour

New, 1 comment

Welcome to Eater Scenes, where Eater photographers Michelle and Chris Gerard visit some of the city's great restaurants and bars to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Here is a look at The Zenith on a Tuesday.

Brenna Houck is a Cities Manager for the Eater network. She previously edited Eater Detroit and reported for Eater. You can follow her on the internet at @brennahouck.

The Zenith opened in New Center's Fisher Building a little over six months ago, leading the trend toward development in the area. The restaurant offers Southern and Mexican cuisine and a tiki bar. While owners Melissa and Robert Jasper have faced some challenges since opening, this fusion concept draws customers from all over the city and is quickly becoming a go-to for frequenters of the Fisher Theatre. Here are some moments captured by Eater Detroit's photographers on a typical Tuesday during happy hour (3 p.m.-6 p.m.).
