Cass Corridor's Comet Bar Closes

Making way for the new Detroit Red Wings arena, the Comet Bar closed Wednesday. The Cass Corridor dive bar, owned by Wayne Alexander, will be sorely missed by the drunken karaoke crooners who frequented it. Metro Times reported rumors back in July that the establishment might be on its way out. Leading up to the closing, many customers expressed their feelings via social media.
