Michigan's Oldest Restaurant To Reopen; Mo Better To Start Live Entertainment

BIRMINGHAMDeadline Detroit reports that Denise Illitch supposedly has her sights set on acquiring the popular Birmingham establishment 220 Restaurant. Denise is the daughter of Mike Illitch, and though nobody will comment on if the deal has gone through yet, the liquor license is apparently in transition, which indicates changes to 220 could be coming soon. MIDTOWNMo Better Blue's has announced on their Facebook page that they are working on an entertainment calendar. No word yet on who, how often, or what type of music (though Blues and Jazz was the original concept). [Facebook]

METAMORAThe White Horse Inn, reportedly the oldest continually running restaurant in all of Michigan, (162 years to be exact) closed unannounced in November of 2012, but the building has been purchased and after extensive renovations, should be reopening in spring of 2014 according to their Facebook page.
