Local Microdistillers Making It Big

Valentine Vodka. Detroit City Distillery. Two James Spirits. Craft distilleries for hard liquor are popping up all over Detroit and the Metro, and it's good for the local economy, good for locals who want craft booze options, and good for the larger liquor market since the product is actually really good. Nathan Skid wrote an article in Crain's Detroit about the growing industry, its successes, and potential limitations (which aren't many at this point). The future is looking boozy and bright.
