Surprise! Good Girls Go To Paris Relocation Soft Opening Today

Photo Eater Detroit

Well it seems that the relocation of Good Girls Go To Paris Crepes happened quicker than anticipated, as they are up and running in their new location, formerly Rodin, until 2:00 a.m. tonight. Eater Detroit spoke with owner Torya Schoeniger who said she took advantage of the terrible weather early this week to move Good Girls to the former Rodin location, since she would have been closed anyway.

Francophiles will be happy to know that many of Good Girls' beloved French movie posters have successfully made the move, and that the crepe menu is just the same, but crepes should be coming up much quicker as the restaurant has one griddle up front by the window and four additional griddles in the kitchen. The crepe menu will stay the same (with the addition of gluten free crepes) and soups, salads, and specials will be added soon to round the menu out. Another addition will be ice cream, which can be added to the crepes or used to make frozen boozy cocktails, since Good Girls has retained Rodin's liquor license.

The restaurant is currently open and fully functioning as of today, while the old Good Girls is completely cleared out.

Owner Torya has plans to feed even the nighttime crowd with Good Girls' new hours. Monday-Wednesday 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Thursday 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m., closed Sundays.

A grand opening celebration, open to the public, will take place next Saturday, January 17th, with DJs spinning live, and crepe and drink specials all night.
