Celeb chef Michael Symon is bringing a slew of locations of his Cleveland burger chain B Spot Burgers to the Detroit area, and the first one, located in Rochester Hills, is now set to open in December. Symon's partners are currently negotiating three leases for additional locations in Metro Detroit, and reports earlier last month had him looking in Ann Arbor. Co-owner Doug Petkovic tells the Detroit Free Press, "I made up my mind that we'll be there...We believe downtown Detroit is a vibrant area."
This first suburban Detroit location will seat 70 inside and 20 outside. The menu will be the same as the other locations, including burgers (the focus here is meat topped with meat), sandwiches, bar snacks, salads, sausages, and shakes.
