METRO DETROIT— Biga Southfield and Biga Royal Oak are getting a bit of a makeover, as chef-owner Luciano DelSignore has decided to rename the chain "Bigalora: Wood Fired Cucina," in anticipation of his Ann Arbor location's opening. The menu will also get a little revamp at both existing locations, which will now be known as "Bigalora". [Freep]
DETROIT— Late night hunger pains driving you crazy? The Metro Times has a list of 24 hour food joints in the city. Their choices include Grandy's Coney Island, Telway Hamburgers, Del Taco, Campau Tower, and Duly's Place. If you're looking for healthy, you will not find it here, but then you probably aren't looking for kale salad at 2:00 a.m. anyways. [Metro Times]
DOWNTOWN— Eater recently spoke with Mo Better Blues owner Gerald Watson II who said that the jazz and blues influenced restaurant is close to opening after all, they're just waiting on the last of those consistently-delayed city inspections. Hopefully the city will pick up the pace a bit and let us enjoy both Mo Better Blues and fellow wait-listee La Feria before the fall is over. [-ED-]
